How do I get locations?
At RP Vending we supply all of your initial locations. These locations are contracted and normally do not receive any commissions. Most machines are installed into locations as a customer service to the staff and customers of the business.

Are there any fees or royalties?
No, our full service operation allows you complete independence. Your only ongoing expense is insurance. Uniforms, brochures and business cards are also included in your machinery package.

What if the locations are not working or the business relocates?
In the beginning, we will review the performance of the machines with you 8 weeks after the machines have been installed. Non performing machines are identified and we will arrange for you to go out with one of our experienced site locators to learn how to secure effective and profitable locations. As we are not a full service franchise our operators are responsible for managing all facets of their business. At RP vending out commitment is to ensure every operator is fully trained in every aspect of the business. Our training program is second to none in the industry. This means that you have peace in mind in knowing that you are fully in control of your business and not depending on any third party involvement after you’re business is up and running.

What happens if a machine breaks down?
Our very comprehensive training will include training on how to fix minor problems such as coin jams or minor malfunctions. However, in the unlikely event that you experience something more serious, one of our highly trained technicians will attend to the problem as soon as possible. Most repairs are carried out within 24 hours of it being reported. Naturally the first 12 months are covered by warranty(or 3 years on the specified components) and because you are one of our operators, repairs after this time will be carried out at a reduced rate. Our representative will explain this cost to you.

How profitable is my business going to be?
This is obviously one of the key reasons that people enter the vending industry. We retail highly visibile brand products that are well promoted and highly consumed. A can of Coke will cost you between 50c and 65c and you can sell it for between $1 and $1.60. Therefore, the percentage markup is in excess of 100%. We have a national average of over 2,000,000 people a day visiting our machines so we know what will be achieved. Typically a 30% to 50% return on investment yearly is achievable. Some of our more experienced operators achieve returns of around 70-80% a year. You don’t just have to take our work for it. What about equipment finance?
Virtually every owner will lease or hire purchase their initial investment. At RP vending we have a strong track record of success and have financial packages available through either Westpac Finance or St George and requirements for the lenders can be gained through our finance broker in your area.

Do I have to buy stock from RP Vending Systems?
No. We will arrange for you to purchase stock directly from Coca Cola, Cadbury Schweppes, Smiths, and a snackfood wholesaler at very competitive prices that we have negotiated for you. All stock will be delivered to your home. Of course if you can find the product cheaper elsewhere you are free to purchase it. After all, it is in your interest to buy your stock at the cheapest possible price.
